Flood Relief Flood Relief  |  Published on July 3, 2026  |  By Satlok Ashram News The Gram Panchayat of village Kharhar, located under Tehsil Bahadurgarh of Jhajjar district in Haryana state, had been continuously facing a severe geographical problem of waterlogging for many years. According to the actual data presented by local villagers and affected farmers, every year during the monsoon season, approximately 150 acres of fertile agricultural land in the village would become completely waterlogged. Due to excessive accumulation of water in the fields, crops such as paddy, wheat, millet, and other seasonal produce would rot and be completely destroyed. The intensity of the waterlogging was so high that due to water stagnating in the fields for long periods, it became completely impossible for farmers to sow the next crop on time.
